Hi all, Daffodil weekend open meeting – new date The Daffodil Weekend open meeting will now take place on Wednesday 9th July at 8pm in the village hall – note this is a change from the previously published date of 25th June At the meeting the Committee and Trust will report on this year’s event. Grants will be presented to village organisations and 2014’s external charity Home Start (Royston and South Cambridgeshire). A Unique Musical Cabaret Evening On Saturday June 7th, Zero Gravity, Cambridge’s recorder band will visit Thriplow for an evening of original music from ancient to modern and including an exciting first performance. The line up includes the full recorder range from the tiny sopranino, to the 6ft tall contra bass. Vic Morris, late of this parish, will be playing his “big one” and will also debut on the world’s largest SQUARE recorder. Yes really. You need to see it, to believe it. Dear Everyone, First of all, a huge thanks to the support that we've received, we're very grateful for all of the feedback we're receiving. It is much appreciated and as we've just come into our third month at the pub we are still progressing and working on the menus to try and suit what is best for everyone in the village and the surrounding areas.
