Dear Customers of Green Man Thriplow, I hope this email finds you well. It has been a turbulent few months, with a huge amount of sacrifice & change for all of us. Village Message, Barbara Pointon's funeral

July 6th 2020

Barbara’s funeral will be a private ceremony held at Opus One, Lower Street on Tuesday 14th July followed by a private committal at the Cam Valley Crematorium.   For anyone wishing to pay their respects and wave farewell to Barbara, the hearse will leave the house at 1.30pm and slowly make its way to the end of Lower Street where it will turn right into The Green and then right again into Middle Street on its way to the A505.  ...Continue Reading

Deliveries to Self-Isolating people We have been offering deliveries from the shop to people who for whatever reason can't get out for 16 weeks now, and the group of Coronavirus volunteers have done a marvellous job of keeping up the deliveries on a daily basis.  Many of those who were locked in are now out and about and we are glad to see you in the shop from time to time.  However, there are a few people who are still keeping indoors to protect themselves from this evil virus.  The shop will continue ...Continue Reading

Great News Thriplow! The Green Man WILL be reopening it's garden this Saturday 4th July, serving a small selection of tapas, dessert & drinks. Please note that we will not be taking reservations or providing any inside service at this time. Benches in our front garden will be first come first served, with a policy of one household/support bubble per bench.
