Final reminder for the Eco-Friendly Show: Saturday 19th September in Fowlmere Village Hall – doors open 2pm with tea served. Anyone can exhibit in Classes for Floral Art, Pot Plants, Fruit, Vegetables, Home Produce, Handicrafts and Photography. Also there are Classes for Children Exhibits. Update on Bank Holiday events at The Green Man. Friday 28th August Just to let people know that in the evening the restaurant & back garden have been fully booked out for a group event. Therefore the bar and front garden will be open for the village, but not the kitchen. Friday lunch time will be business as usual. Sunday 30th August The pub will open late as it's a bank holiday. Margaret will put a notice up to help. But it costs just £10 per year (more if you wish to make a donation!) and new subscribers get a certificate from the committee later on.
