Changes to street lighting in Thriplow village ward. To allay any confusion regarding the recent leaflet drop by Balfour Beatty. The only lights affected are at the Gravel Pit Hill / Church St and Fowlmere Rd / Lodge Rd junctions. These are Cambridgeshire County Council owned, all other columns are either Parish Council or SCDC owned and are NOT affected. Please be aware of the following incidents reported by the Police - ; We are currently looking into a company cold calling door to door called the Hertfordshire Security Company, they have been out an about in Bassingbourn and Littlington but will no doubt call at other villages across South Cambs. They often knock at doors late at night, they are reportedly offering to set up security patrols in the village after payment of a small fee.
