Dear friends in Thriplow, As some of you will remember, I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with a group of fellow students from the University of York, to raise money for the charity Hope for Children. I have been involved with the Thriplow Jubilee Friendship Club for over 30 years most recently organising all the events and consider it is now time hand over the reins to someone else. The Club meets on alternate Tuesdays for about 2 hours in Thriplow Village Hall where there is a chance for those attending to catch up on each others news, play some games and have a good afternoon tea. Hello everyone, I am having my first solo art exhibition in an empty shop (just next door to Nest in the second courtyard) in Burwash Manor, Barton, starting this Saturday.
