Dear All, We hope that you're looking forward to the Film night taking place at the school tomorrow evening, Thursday 13th . The bar will open at 8.00pm and the film showing will start at 9.00pm. Calling all photographers With the daffodil just coming into full bloom, we need some fresh pictures that we can use for publicity materials. If anyone thinks they have the eye for that one great shot (and a decent camera!) we would be grateful if you could see what you can capture on the next sunny/blue sky day. We want to be able submit photos to the National newspapers and TV channels for use when they cover stories that talk about Spring. Hi If you haven't already bought your ticket for the Film Night, you may be advised to do so today as the price goes from£5 to £7 tomorrow. The school only have 1 or 2 tickets left and Thriplow shop has ~10 - when they are gone they are gone ! Dear Villagers Daffodil Weekend has been contacted by a television production company who are working on the second series of a gardening programme for BBC Two - The Great British Garden Revival. The programme aims to revive the public’s appetite for gardening, and some of its bygone traditions. Dear All, Update on the Mary Cooper Open Church project I hope that by now you have seen the information on the first of our fund-raising events. This is a Film Night to be held at the school on the evening of Thursday 13th March – tickets are now on sale at the school office and in the village shop. We would like to say a big thank you to those of you who have read though our appeal brochure and made a donation towards our appeal.
