Hi The Green Man in Thriplow are removing the tree that overhangs the back garden of the pub, tomorrow. The task is the first to enable the extension to be started, The tree surgeon has been asked to leave behind any reasonable burning logs for us when he has removed all the brushwood. It is an ash tree and apparently will burn without seasoning, and burn well so I'm told. Please bring a wheelbarrow and come and get some for your stockpile if you wish. Hi Just announcing that in support of British Curry Week, this Friday we are offering at the Green Man, Thriplow, a special dinner themed evening. The meal will include a big starter platter and a choice of three main course curries with side dishes, rice and bread for £12 per head. Indian dessert for £2.50 and Chai for £1 to finish.
